Monday Muncher: Gluten Free Spaghetti

An easy gluten free spaghetti idea! I am not a "make your own sauce" kinda girl, so the recipe will be tailored to that! I included pictures because I can't stand when I look at a recipe and not know which ingredients they are talking about- so I like to use pictures that way you have a mental image when you go to the grocery store!

The ingredients I use are for GF spaghetti are:

1 pcgk of GF noodles  (I like this brand------->)
I use the penne for spaghetti instead of spaghetti noodles because it is easier to eat that way! (at least my husband and I think so)
1 jar of pasta sauce (I like this brand----------->

1 pound of low fat beef ------------------------>

A couple sprinkles of extra garlic ------------->
I prefer the spices from Whole Foods as I feel they are much fresher and I like the idea of packaging in glass containers as there is so much BPA in plastic packaging these days!
Cook noodles in a pot until they are the texture you prefer them. Brown the ground beef. Add all other ingredients to ground beef and let it simmer. When noodles are done, drain them. Place noodles in spaghetti sauce. I haven't really found a gluten free bread I like, so I don't have garlic bread. But if you have one you prefer- add it as a side!

I hope you like this spaghetti! It has become a staple in my house!

  1. Yum-Looks good! My mother-in-law just found out she has a wheat allergy so I've been looking for meal ideas for when she's over. I'll have to look for this brand of noodles. Thanks!
